In memory of Teddy BearBorn May 30, 1988. Died May 14, 2000
Teddy was very special to us. He led a wonderful life. September 19, 2000 Teddy was a dog I once owned. He had a marvelous life. This dog was a miracle. Well, you probably want to know how we got him? His mother was pregnant with two puppies. Well, only one survived out of the litter. You see, when his mother was pregnant with him, he got stuck in he uterus and they did a c-section on her. After that she was spaded so she could survive. After that we had our smiling puppy. He was one dog no one could hate. You see he had a strange thing he did. He laughed! He stomped his feet and howled. His tale went 90 mpr. But the sad ugly truth was that he had arthritis. Poor dog you would say. But he still was hyper active. He was old when he died. All of us could be heard a mile away. Well, the night before he died. He was acting strange. He didn’t laugh when tickled him. He just acted like didn’t want to live. In the middle of that night. My sister, Elizabeth, woke up at about 1 o’clock in the morning. She had a feeling something was wrong. She ran down the stairs panting hard trying to get to Teddy. When she got to where Teddy was. She could hear him panting rapidly and loudly. She sat down besides the golden breathing dog. She grabbed his head and rested it on her lap. She cradled his head. Then he slowed his breathing down. Elizabeth back up and went to sleep. The next morning I crept down the stairs to eat breakfast. I went to the refrigerator and pulled out strawberry yogurt. I ate some of the creamy strawberries yogurt. I saw a golden lump on the floor that resembled Teddy. I walked over to pet him. I rested my hand on his furry back and moved my hand forward and back. His body was as hard as rock. Then I noticed the sent of decaying flesh. I looked into his eyes and I Kew he was dead. I screamed on the top of my lungs. I heard thumping noises as my parents ran down the stairs. They asked me what was wrong? I wiped my tears from my eyes as I screamed, Teddy’s dead.” From then on my favorite dog still lives in my heart and soul. He always will too. Thank you.
